In the shadows of soft, silver light,

I move between the day and night,

A mix of happiness and sorrow,

Where laughter hides away till tomorrow.

I feel some joy, but sadness stays,

A sad tune that quietly plays,

Most days are filled with shades of gray,

Yet in this stillness, I drift away.

The mood and I have our story,

In calm places where voices are low,

I'm anchored, still, yet lost at sea

A quiet pulse of mystery.

I look at the stars with hopeful eyes,

Under their light, my heart sighs,

I try to fit in, change, and blend,

But it all feels like a make-believe end.

Judgment falls like leaves from trees,

As I move back to quiet times with ease.

In busy spaces, I feel alone,

A ghostly heart, a quiet tone.

Oh moon, you hear my quiet sighs,

The way I hide behind these lies.

In the darkness, we combine our fates,

A bond that time and light create.

So here I am, both loud and soft,

A heart that cares, but is often ignored,

In the moonlight, I feel at home,

A gentle sound, a quiet calm.
