to have loved you was a privilege  

to miss you is my greatest loss 

even in the days that fly by 

i still remember the parts of you that 

 used to make up mine 

i hold fast to the memories we have 

desperate to feel them again for the first time 

our time was one that deserves to be  

cherished  

deserved 

lost…. 

and in the days, night, and hours that i weep 

in remembrance of you 

longing for the feeling of your touch 

tone of your voice 

way that you laugh  

and gentleness of your love  

i only hope that you think of me just the same.
