Ode to Anime

Where characters experience highs and lows,

My love for them and their stories grows,

Thoughts of anime invade my waking hours and my dreams,

As I see the imagery of colors, skylines and light beams.

Artists draw each frame with a flair.

Writers craft every story with care.

Each story speaks to me,

While every frame makes me smile with glee.

Anime is more than just a cartoon,

It is another form of art that inspires you to shoot for the moon.

When I am stuck and lack the necessary dedication,

I turn to your dynamic themes and bright lights for motivation.
