A Short Poem About Skydiving

Looked out the window and into beautiful weather
It took 14,000 feet in the air to realize that we should be together
Feet in rhythm, hearts kept in line,I never guessed yours could beat like mine.
Then the wind came, wild and unplanned, and suddenly I was reaching for your hand.We leapt together, through air so vast, screaming, laughing, free at last.
The world below became blurred in a spinning delight,
and I realized I’d been falling all night.
When the parachute opened, hearts side by side,
I knew this was more than a simple ride.
