Wish

  A wish that may, a wish that might, a wish that did come true. 

Scrunched eyes, deepened breathing, glow pulsing with his chest, the little star’s outline flickered as he reached into the cavity that held his spark. Cradling his light, he let it go with a kiss, glittering cloud surrounding him. And so he fell, solid and human and a star no more.
